Passion for Every Learner
I am a retired mathematics teacher based in Hong Kong, with over 35 years of experience in schools and the Education Bureau. My work has spanned the full spectrum of learners — from primary school children to Grade 12 students, from the gifted to those with intellectual disabilities.
For more than 20 years, I dedicated a significant part of my career to understanding and supporting students with dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, and autism. I believe deeply that every child has a unique and beautiful way of thinking — and that mathematics, when taught with empathy and creativity, can be accessible and joyful for all.
Now in retirement, I am channeling this lifetime of experience into something I hope will outlast a classroom: a collection of insights, reflections, and practical tools to support learners, parents, and educators wherever they are.
This website — The Forest of Learning Mathematics Thinking — is my way of giving back. I hope you find something here that helps a child grow.
My Mission
To share knowledge, tools, and heart — so that no child is left behind in mathematics, and no parent or teacher feels alone in the journey.
